Casey had a family issue to tend to on Tuesday, but we're back today with a Hump Day Play by Play.

We open talking prep football and then dive into the phone lines. We have St. Edmund head football coach James Shiver on the line at 11:45, then South Lafourche coach BJ Young at noon.

We wrap up our call-in guests with Taylor Griffin at 12:15. We chat with Turtle about SLHS football, LSU football, Nicholls and more.

We then get into our mailbag and answer your questions, then make our betting picks – all in a strong show. 

Play by Play - August 29, 2022

On Monday's Play by Play, we recap Jamboree Week on the local high school football scene and then also talk some college and pro. 

We open the show talking about our reactions from jamboree weekend. We then go to Houma Christian School football coach Butch Theriot at 11:45, to Terrebonne football coach Tyler Lewis at noon, then to South Lafourche AD Brian Callais at 12:15.

We hand out our Weekend W's and L's in the bottom of the show, as well as our betting picks. We cover the full range of topics in our W's and L's. 

Play by Play - August 26, 2022

On today's Play by Play, we celebrate because IT'S GAME DAY with high school football jamborees rolling.

We break down the local jamborees in the first segment, then chat with SLHS freshman football coach Chandler Guidroz at 11:45. In our noon segment, we chat with Tommy Minton, head coach at Vandebilt. 

We then close out talking about some things happening in sports, while also making our weekend predictions.

We wrap up with our betting picks. 

Play by Play - August 25

On today's Play by Play, we talk some high school sports with some college and pro sports mixed in.

We rant on the LHSAA in Segment 1 and then we talk about some headlines in Segment 2. 

Then, it's 3-straight call-in guests: CCA football coach Cullen Matherne, West Thibodaux football coach Joe Riley and then Hunter Bower, owner of Geaux Preps. 

We wrap up making fun of the Lakers and then make our picks.

We open with Ellender football coach Jesse Turner at 11:45, then go to our weekly interview with SLHS football coach BJ Young at noon, then chat with Taylor Griffin.

Today's Play by Play has a lot of fun talking middle school, prep, college and pro sports.

We open with a segment detailing tonight's LCO vs. West Thibodaux game and detailing high school jamborees. 

We then talk to Keagen Polkey, LCO football coach about the game. We then do a segment talking Kevin Durant and Nick Saban's new contract. 

We then go to Stan Gravois for our Terrebonne General Tuesday. We chat about high school, college and pro with Stan.

We close the show with some MLB talk, then our betting picks.

We then enjoy our weekly Friday chat with SLHS baseball/assistant football coach Chandler Guidroz. We also chat with E.D. White football coach Kyle Lasseigne about his team's scrimmage with Zachary. 

We also talk with CCA football coach Cullen Matherne while combing the headlines and discussing things in the world of sports.

On today's Play by Play, we talk high school, college and pro sports in a great show. 

We talk about the scrimmages coming up in the open, then chat with Tommy Minton of Vandebilt Catholic football.

We then talk about the Big 10's huge TV deal and the Watson suspension in the noon hour segment.

At 12:15, we chat with Stan Gravois for our Terrebonne General Tuesday on a Thursday. 

We then talk about the amazing chicken and sausage gumbo in Lafourche Schools cafeterias (yes, that happened), then the College Football Playoff's pondering moving on from the NCAA and more.
